Hopeful

Hello Everybody,
For this Literacy task we watched a music video called 'Hopeful' and its all based on a movie called 'Coach Carter' and it is a very heartwarming, Inspirational song, and for our literacy Task we had to make a list of 10 or more words that best described this story, but we had to dig deep instead of surface words that we can already see through their actions and body, we dived deeper into their emotions and that gave us a little bit more of a higher writing level experience.

In Flanders fields

 Flanders fields Poem

This poem takes me on an emotional roller coaster because its memorable and Inspiring because it helps us remember all the men and women who risked their lives to make us safe. I feel sad and grateful that they fought our battles and sad because many lives were claimed within those 5 years of violent war.ANZAC DAY 2020 in 2020 | Remembrance day art, Anzac day, Remembrance dayThe Significance Of ANZAC Day, Lest We Forgetremembrance day, lest we forget, poppy, november, commemoration, veterans, honour, symbol, patriotic, memorial, patriotism | Pikist

The Right to Vote

There once was a time in New Zealand where Women weren't allowed to vote, Only men were allowed to Legally Vote. Until One lady by the name of Kate Sheppard Lead a Suffragist group in New Zealand calling for a change in law allowing Women the right to vote, once all her hard work payed off when the act was passed into law allowing women to Vote. New Zealand was one of the first countries in history allowing women to vote. My opinion on the Idea of women not being allowed to vote is unfair because they need to be heard and the world doesn't belong to only men, because the women voices needed to be heard.
